No passion…no candor…clearly little less than canned answers. He effectively stayed on message.
The press gives the “One” a halo?!?
The outrage to me was how he can argue that he is going to be more fiscally responsible by doubling the budget in 5 years and tripling the budget in 10 years…while still looking the American people in the eye and saying he is still cutting the deficit?!? And some believe that?
Oh yeh, he inherited all the problems – so digging us deeper into debt isn’t his fault! It’s all Bush’s fault.
Is America waking up?
When I look at his eyes they’re flat with no emotion. Pretty smile, but nothing behind it.
That photo of him was taken on purpose, I’m sure.
He’s probably the least fiscal responsible person I’ve seen in my lifetime, but then..the people knew that when they elected him.
Perhaps he’s cutting the deficit compared to what he really wanted to spend.
It does make me question: if the international world is waking up to who he is, and how his administration is not prepared — why don’t Americans see it? Maybe it’s the old: “can’t see the forest through the trees”.
