Michigan Republicans Unanimously Endorse!
At yesterday’s MI GOP State Committee meeting, the following resolution was unanimously adopted by the 120 member committee:
“We endorse Saul Anuzis for RNC Chairman and strongly encourage our RNC delegation to publicly endorse and support Saul for Chairman.”
I am humbled and proud to have the support of our grassroots leadership in Michigan. Thanks again for your vote of confidence and continued support and encouragement.
A message from the General Chairman of the Susan B. Anthony List – Jane Abraham
“I have known Saul to be an energetic and inspirational leader who not only gets the job done, but motivates others to work hard and produce results for Republican causes. Saul is constantly on the move, whether it’s raising money for the party, attending grassroots meetings, talking about beating back the Obama agenda, or buying pizza for a College Republican organization to talk about his days as a CR and remind them why their hard work matters.”

A Temporary Reprieve from Obamanomics – Will it be Enough?
“In accepting the deal to cut payroll and business taxes and extend all of the Bush-era tax rates through 2012, Mr. Obama has implicitly admitted that his economic strategy has flopped. He is acknowledging that tax rates matter to growth, that treating business like robber barons has hurt investment and hiring, and that tax cuts are superior to spending as stimulus. It took 9.8% unemployment and a loss of 63 House seats for this education to sink in, but the country will benefit.”
Congressional Map of Election Results
Karl Rove prepared an interesting map that gives a great perspective of how well Republicans did this last cycle.

PRISM’s Jim Ellis provides an interesting analysis of 2012 Presidential Map
“Assuming all of the aforementioned falls into line, then the Republican nominee would go over the top by winning just one of the following states: Michigan, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Colorado…”

Top 10 Rising Power Players in the New Congress
“this list is designed to highlight those members of Congress who, though not necessarily household names (yet), are likely to wield power next year due to the importance of their voices and their votes. Some are new senators in swing states who may not always be able to cast the easy vote with their party. Others are big names facing tough reelections this coming cycle who can expect to be courted by both parties’ leadership teams – as well as lobbyists – for their votes.”

Thanks again for all you do!

Having been married 5 years to a “solid” Republican, I have learned alot and totally believe in the Republican point of view. However, that is not why I am writing this note. For the past few years, I have heard the name Saul Anuzis many times, seen pictures, etc but have not figured out a way to find something out. What I would like to know is whether Saul Anuzis is the same “little” Saul Anuzis my children used to play with on DaCosta Street in Redford, MI. I would really like to know if this is the same Saul Anuzis that left every Saturday for Lithuanian school to maintain his knowledge of his heritage. As you might guess, I can’t tell by appearance as that was decades ago! This is only a “curiousity question” of an elderly Republican and would really like to know. Thanks.
